Professional Supervision with Gerard

Support, guidance, and growth for therapists at every stage of their career

Supervision is an essential part of ethical, effective practice. It’s a collaborative process where an experienced therapist (the supervisor) supports another practitioner (the supervisee) to explore their caseload, develop professionally, and safeguard client welfare.

With over 40 years in the caring professions, Gerard provides a warm, supportive, and insightful supervision space for students, pre-accredited, and fully accredited therapists.

Gerard’s Approach

Using the Cyclical Model of Supervision, Gerard tailors each session to your needs. His integrative style draws on humanistic, transpersonal, creative, psychodynamic, and CBT approaches, offering flexibility and depth.

In supervision, you’ll have space to:

  • Reflect openly on your therapeutic relationships

  • Explore what’s working well (and why)

  • Identify blind spots and triggers (we all have them)

  • Discuss ethical issues and client welfare

  • Enhance your professional development and self-care

Gerard works from a collegial, collaborative approach, offering insight, reflection, and guidance to help you feel more confident and resourced in your work with clients.
